It was assumed that 2% redox concentrations occurred at both depths and remained constant while percentages of redox depletions varied. Wetland hydrology would be met for saturation events of 0.5 event yr–1 or above which correspond to a soil having approximately 30% depletions between the depths of 15 and 30 cm.
