ABSTRACT
According to present definitions of USDA textural classes, some sandy particle-size distributions can not be placed in any class. We propose changes in the definitions of fine sandy loam, sandy loam, loamy sand, and sand so that all distributions can be classified, facilitating computer computation of texture classes.
